Okay, I should have started posting since the 20th of last month which was.. *cough cough*.. my last day of exams... which means.. *cough*.. I've completed..*cough*... my A levels =) I was too busy with graduation day and my btn camp, I didn't even get the chance to acknowledge my newfound independence.
WOOOOOOHOOOOOOOO! There you go!
Graduation day was fun since I was really looking forward to it. Of course, it would have been better if i had a camera with me. I wouldn't have to think of sneaking into some random group photos and figuring out with whom I actually took photos with so that I could get those from them later. Yup the agony. Well, it WAS partly my fault that my dad took the camera along to India. I should have informed him earlier.
That day, I learned one thing for sure. Make it two (you know.. plus the part where I didn't have my camera). People just love black dresses don't they? I'm not complaining since I'm guilty as charged. But next time, if I'm looking for a dress, I'll make sure it's red or purple or green or wth yellow, just not black. Black dresses are gorgeous and surely enough, a million others out there think the same too.
It was very warming to see everyone dressed up, wearing the best smiles they've got; after almost a year and a half of not giving much thought of the baggy t-shirts and shorts or pants we faithfully wear in ktt. As for the pictures.. I've yet to grab those from others.
BTN was a blast.Seriously! It definitely didn't turn out to be as bad as I thought. I've never been prouder of Malaysia.. and I sincerely hope that this feeling lasts. You've probably heard this like a gazillion times, but a fact remains a fact. NOWHERE on earth will you find a country as colourful and diverse as Malaysia.
My favourite part would have to be the 'kembara'. Apart from being covered in mud and sweat, and slipping once, and the unfortunate grips on thorny leaves, I was injury free! Yay to me! Chenies was not so lucky though.. was it three or four times dear ? haha! It's okay.. we did have fun didn't we? And kal where did the leach come from? Fiona.. you're a brave girl. Leaches ain't gonna ruin your day huh? I'm missing you girls already! I didn't get any on me though, not that I was hoping for one to bite me. I didn't bother to check my legs until I got back to my dorm, since I figured what I didn't know wouldn't hurt me!
I'm back home now, catching up with all the drama in ugly betty, greys, oprah, etc. I love GURUN! I miss KTT, no doubt. All the fun, laughter and tears we shared in college, the crazy times in our apartment, the friendly encounters with our four-legged friends, haha; these are moments I couldn't have experienced anywhere else. I'll be back next year but for now.. it's home sweet home baby ;)
LOVES,
Gaya
